As someone who previously co-founded a mobile telehealth software company, Dave is passionate about helping growth-stage vertical software businesses unlock their full potential. He loves building relationships with management teams and working collaboratively to identify & execute on value creation initiatives. Initiatives that both accelerate growth and improve operating performance.
As a Co-Founding Partner of AQL Growth, Dave focuses on leading new investments and working closely with portfolio companies to optimize growth. Drawing on his entrepreneurial background, he also helps drive firm-wide growth initiatives across investment strategy, firm operations, investor relations, as well as technology innovation.
Outside of the office, Dave is a sports fanatic (though his early dreams of NBA stardom died when he failed to exceed 5’7”). His claim to fame is completing a 58-hour charity event during college that set the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous basketball game (raising $60,000 for children with life-threatening illnesses in the process).
Although he was born and raised in Durham and attended Duke for graduate school, for Dave, the sky is Carolina blue.
